If you are curious about what a Transformational Breath® one-to-one session involves and want to know more before you commit, then this is
for you.
“Breathwork was like years of therapy in one session.”
– Amy, London
Here at Radiant Breathwork, we treat everyone as a unique individual, so it's essential that we find out as much as we can about you and what you are looking to get out of Breathwork before a session.
We will always have a discovery call with you first to allow you to ask questions about Transformational Breath® and for us to explore what you are looking for.
Once you have agreed to a session, we send a short questionnaire about your health to ensure we tailor the session to your needs.
After greeting you and helping you relax, if you have never had a session before, we will go through your health questionnaire, explain what Transformational Breath® is and a demo of how to do it.
Then, most importantly, you will be asked what you would like to gain from the session - what your intention is. Intention could be anything from improving your breathing, letting go of unwanted emotions, or simply feeling calmer.
Once your intention is set and your questions are answered, we begin the breathing session.
You’ll start by lying comfortably on a mat, supported by soft pillows and blankets to help you feel safe and relaxed.
In your first session, we begin with a detailed breath analysis. This helps you understand how your breathing influences your life. You’ll discover where your breath is restricted and identify your unique breathing pattern. Over time, we’ll gently release tension in the body to create space for a freer, more expansive breath—and with it, a deeper sense of well-being.
To enrich your experience, we use carefully selected music that helps you drop into your body, quiet the mind, and connect with your feelings.
Throughout the session, we guide you to consciously connect your breath—removing the pause between inhale and exhale to create a continuous, flowing rhythm.
We also use touch, similar to acupressure, to support the release of tension in areas where your breath may be held. Spoken affirmations such as “It’s safe to be in your body” and “It’s safe to let go” are gently woven into the session. You don’t need to focus on them—just allow them to drift into your subconscious.
As your breath deepens, it’s natural for sensations, emotions, or physical shaking to emerge. These are signs of the body releasing stress, trauma, and tension. We support this process through toning—making a pure sound like “ah”—and encourage movement to help energy flow and integrate.
After about 40 to 45 minutes of active breathing, we enter the integration phase—a peaceful space for rest and reflection, allowing your system to absorb the healing effects of the session.
To close, you’ll be gently guided back and given time to share your experience, helping you feel grounded and complete.
We will give you some tips and advice on what to expect over the following 24-48 hours after the experience, and we will support you if you need to talk anything through.
We hope that's given you some insight into what happens in a session. We also want to reassure you that the process, while powerful, is safe and as highly qualified facilitators, we support you through each step of your personal breath session.
